Learn how to connect your Shopify catalog, automate stock level syncs, and route customer orders directly to your Shopify fulfillment dashboard.
Welcome to the Shopify Integration Guide! Connecting your Shopify store is the quickest way to list your products across Europe. Our platform interfaces directly with Shopify's Admin API using a secure Custom App connection. Once set up, product listings, pricing updates, and inventory changes will sync automatically, and marketplace orders will route directly to your Shopify dashboard for easy fulfillment.
Log in to your Shopify Admin Panel, navigate to Settings > Apps and sales channels. Click Develop apps, and then click Allow custom app development to enable custom app creation.
Click Create an app, name it Salp Marketplace Integration. Under Configuration, click Configure Admin API scopes. Scroll and grant **Read Access** to the following scopes: read_products, read_inventory, and read_orders (required to sync customer orders for shipping).
Click Install app at the top right of the page. Once installed, go to the API credentials tab. Under **Admin API access token**, click Reveal token once. Copy this token immediately and save it securely—it will only be displayed once.
After copying your Access Token, log in to our Portal, go to Integrations > Shopify, enter your store URL (e.g. your-shop.myshopify.com), and paste your Access Token. Click Connect.
Once connected, click Sync Now. Our platform automatically imports all products marked with an Active status in Shopify. Products with a status of Draft or Archived are safely ignored. Any price modifications or inventory changes you make in Shopify will automatically sync to the marketplace within 5 to 10 minutes, keeping your listings completely accurate.
Shopify Rate Limiting & Safety: To keep your public Shopify storefront running fast, we respect Shopify API rate limits by capping our queries to 2 requests per second. Our smart background queues handle synchronization smoothly without affecting your shop's performance.
When a customer purchases your item on the marketplace, our system automatically routes the order into your Shopify Admin under Orders. It will include shipping details and the customer note.
Fulfill the order inside your Shopify Admin as you normally would. Once you add the tracking number and carrier info, Shopify triggers a secure update that automatically syncs back to our portal, completing the sale and notifying the customer.
