Integrate your BigCommerce store using API accounts to synchronize high-performance catalog data and automate order processing.
Welcome to the BigCommerce Integration Guide! Our BigCommerce connector uses store-level secure API Accounts. This delivers direct database-speed access to your product catalog, variant options, and customer order pipelines, keeping your stock and sales perfectly synchronized.
Log in to your BigCommerce Control Panel. Go to Settings > API > Store-level API accounts. Click the Create API Account button.
Name your account Salp Integration. In the scopes matrix, select the following permissions: **Read-Only** for Information & Settings and Products, and **Read/Write** for Orders. Click Save.
BigCommerce will display your API credentials and trigger an automatic download of a text file containing your **Client ID**, **Client Secret**, and **Access Token**. Keep this file secure as it cannot be downloaded again.
In our portal under Integrations > BigCommerce, enter your store's secure API Details (Client ID, Client Secret, and Access Token). Click Connect.
BigCommerce's SaaS infrastructure allows exceptionally high sync speeds. We pull your complete product catalog, high-resolution variant imagery, option sets, and live stock pools. Stock level and pricing sync runs automatically 4 times per day (every 6 hours). A comprehensive catalog audit runs automatically every 2 days to reconcile all products and variant option sets. To prevent any overselling, checkouts trigger an immediate, secure Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory verification directly against BigCommerce. You can also trigger an immediate sync at any time by clicking the Sync Now button.
BigCommerce API Performance: Because BigCommerce is a high-availability SaaS platform, it supports exceptionally fast synchronizations. Our adapter uses up to 8 requests per second, achieving near-zero latency catalog syncing.
Marketplace orders are pushed directly into your BigCommerce orders pipeline, with automated invoice triggers and shipping address validation.
Creating a shipment tracking number in BigCommerce automatically pushes the status to our portal, completing the order loop.
